Overview
Voice Calls give you a dedicated phone number for guest and team calls. Every call is recorded (with consent), transcribed, and summarized — so you never have to remember what was said on a 20-minute call from last Tuesday.
What you get
- Inbound — guests can call your ProhostAI number
- Outbound — call guests or vendors directly from a reservation or task
- Recording & transcription — every call is transcribed automatically
- AI summary — bullet points of what was said, plus extracted next steps
- Call history — searchable log of every call
Setting up
Open Settings → Voice to provision a number and configure routing rules. You can:
- Pick a number in any supported region
- Set business hours (calls outside hours go to voicemail)
- Route by listing or by team member
- Auto-attach call transcripts to the related reservation
Mobile calling
On the iOS and Android apps, an incoming call surfaces an in-app overlay where you can mute, hold, or hang up. Outbound dialing is one-tap from any reservation or task.
AI summary
After a call ends, ProhostAI drafts:
- Summary — 2-3 sentences of what was discussed
- Bullet points — key facts that came up
- Next steps — actions you said you'd take
The summary is pinned to the related reservation or task so the next person who picks up the thread has context.
