NoiseAware integration

The neighbors never have to be your alarm system.

NoiseAware spots the party. ProhostAI talks to it.

Connect your NoiseAware account and decibel alerts stop being a dashboard you have to watch — every breach pushes an alert to you, and if you enable it, the guest staying tonight gets a courteous automatic message when quiet hours are broken.

Overview

Most noise problems don’t start in the living room. They start on the patio at 11:30pm, drift over the fence, and end as a complaint you read the next day. NoiseAware covers both sides of that wall: indoor sensors for the unit and weatherproof outdoor sensors for patios, decks and yards — all decibel-based, with no recordings.

ProhostAI supplies the part NoiseAware can’t know: who is in the house. Every breach pushes an alert to you and your team with the stay attached — which listing, which reservation, which sensor. And if you opt in to the guest auto-message, a breach during quiet hours also sends a courteous note to that guest, in the conversation thread they already know, capped at one message per hour so a rowdy evening doesn’t turn into spam.

When it isn’t a one-off — two or more breaches inside 30 minutes — ProhostAI raises a distinct persistent-noise alert, so the nights that need a phone call look different from the ones that needed a nudge. Either way, escalation is a decision made with context rather than a scramble.

Sensors come online with working defaults: a 60 dB threshold and quiet hours from 10pm to 8am, provisioned automatically when the sensor is added and fully configurable per sensor — including windows that cross midnight.

What ProhostAI can do with NoiseAware

With your NoiseAware account connected and sensors assigned to listings, here’s what runs without you:

Monitoring

  • Indoors and outNoiseAware’s indoor sensors and weatherproof outdoor sensors cover the unit and the patio — the place complaints actually start.
  • Decibel thresholds you controlEvery sensor starts at a 60 dB default and is tuned individually, so the backyard sensor near the neighbor’s bedroom can be stricter than the one in the den.
  • Privacy by designNoiseAware measures sound levels — it doesn’t record conversations. Guests are monitored for volume, never listened to.

Automation

  • An alert on every breachEach threshold crossing pushes an alert to you and your team with the reservation attached — during quiet hours and outside them.
  • An optional first response to the guestEnable it, and quiet-hours breaches send a courteous automatic message to the guest currently staying — in the existing conversation, at most once per hour.“Hi — hope you’re having a great evening! Our noise monitor shows things are getting loud outside. Quiet hours start at 10pm, so we’d appreciate moving the fun indoors. Thanks!”
  • Repeated noise escalatesTwo or more breaches within 30 minutes raise a separate persistent-noise alert — the signal that a message alone isn’t working.

How to connect NoiseAware

Connecting NoiseAware takes a few minutes in the browser:

  1. 1In ProhostAI, open Smart Devices and choose Connect account.
  2. 2Pick NoiseAware in the secure connection window and sign in with your NoiseAware account credentials.
  3. 3Your indoor and outdoor sensors sync in with their connection status, pre-set to the default 60 dB threshold and 10pm–8am quiet hours.
  4. 4Assign each sensor to its listing and adjust thresholds and quiet hours per sensor.
  5. 5Opt in to the automatic guest message if you want quiet-hours breaches answered politely without you.

Good to know

NoiseAware sensors are decibel-based and make no recordings — a distinction worth stating in your listing and house rules.

Outdoor sensors are weatherproof, so patios, decks and yards can be covered as well as the unit itself.

Your alert fires on every breach; the guest auto-message is opt-in, quiet-hours-only, and capped at one per hour.

Connected devices are a paid add-on billed per device — a single-sensor setup on a problem property works fine.

The connection uses a secure, dedicated device-integration layer; ProhostAI never sees or stores your NoiseAware password.

NoiseAware integration FAQ

Yes. Connect your NoiseAware account and every noise breach alerts you and your team with the reservation attached — and, if you enable it, sends the current guest an automatic, polite message during quiet hours.

Yes. NoiseAware makes weatherproof outdoor sensors alongside its indoor ones, and both connect through the same account — so the backyard gets the same thresholds, quiet hours and alerts as the living room.

If you’ve turned on the automatic guest message, a quiet-hours breach sends a courteous note in the conversation thread the guest already uses — from the same “voice” that sent their check-in instructions, and never more than once an hour.

No. NoiseAware measures decibel levels and never records conversations. ProhostAI only receives the fact that a threshold was crossed, plus which sensor and when.

A push alert on every breach, with the listing, reservation and sensor attached — and if breaches repeat within 30 minutes, a distinct persistent-noise alert that flags the nights needing a real follow-up.
