Our story It all started in 2013. Beyond’s Co-founder and CTO David Kelso was renting out a spare bedroom in his San Francisco apartment to help pay the rent. There was no pricing tool for short-term rentals back then, so he'd just look at how other similar rentals were being priced, set a price, and crossed his fingers. That’s when he decided to build a tool to dynamically price his listing. He rapidly cultivated a customer base of 25 listings, and within 18 months, he was providing dynamic pricing for 600 of the 3,000 short-term rental listings in his area. Beyond Pricing was born. Fast forward to today The global leader in revenue management. Beyond Pricing is now simply known as Beyond, and has moved from a single product to a multi-product company. We've also grown in size and scope.
