Elaine & Lance Stitcher founded Seaside Vacations & Sales based on the notion that there was a better way to do it, plain and simple. Better for Homeowners - better for Guests - better for their Team. Lance had proof of concept that he could succeed in the industry having been the General Manager at Vantage Resort Realty, and Elaine was as passionate, or even more so, about Vacation Rentals, and with her strong background in Marketing and Customer Service, they took a leap of faith and Seaside Vacations & Sales was born. Over the last 10 years, Seaside has grown organically and carefully, and now manages about 450 properties, while also having a successful Real Estate Brokerage. Seaside Vacations provides Property Management and Real Estate Services in both Chincoteague Island, Virginia and in Ocean City, Maryland. We have no interest in being the biggest - just the best. We built our business - not buy it - and it's our baby. We are very hands on and present in the day to day operations, and hands down have the best team and tech stack to be found. I like to say that we're a small business with BIG technology. We have the best website around, and just launched a new one, as we like to remain 2 steps ahead. We use dynamic pricing tools, and our Operations Platform, Breezeway, is amazing - we're all about both making you money AND the best property care. 2023 was a BIG year for us - we were voted "2023 Vacation Rental Management Company of the Year", by the Vacation Rental Management Association, Best of Locals Choice in both 2022, 2023, AND 2024, and the Comparent Market Leader Award! We have our own in-house teams for maintenance technicians, cleaners, and inspectors. We provide linen to all our guests at NO COST to our owners. Ask us about our laundry facility, we are very proud to be the first local company providing such a service. Not only is your property cleaned after each departure following the latest in CDC guidelines, but the property is inspected by a member of our staff, utilizing checklists and photographs, on EVERY departure. If a repair is needed outside of the scope of our staff, we have partnered with the very best service providers to provide timely and proper repairs. We’ve adopted the best technology in the industry, assembling the teams from TRACK, ICND, Breezeway and Beyond Pricing to offer the best technology in the industry. This "tool box" allows us to accomplish nearly anything that you can think of in this industry. We could go on and on, but you get the gist. We’ve got a great team, we’ve got the experience, we’ve got arguably the best technology suite that can be assembled, and our team has a passion for what we do that is unrivaled. And don’t forget that we are one of the few companies around where the owners and senior management will answer the phone personally for our Partners. Seaside Vacations & Sales is about community, as well. Lance serves as President on the BOD for the Association of Realtors, and Elaine is a long time Board Member on the Chincoteague Chamber BOD, as well as on the BOD for Historic Main Street Merchants. We both are active in the Vacation Rental Managers' Association, and both serve on many panels, and are instructors frequently at conferences.
