2N integration

The intercom stops being a black box.

Know your 2N door station is up — before a guest finds out it isn’t.

Connect your 2N account and the intercoms and door stations at your building entrances become visible devices in ProhostAI — live status and connection health next to your locks, with an alert the moment one drops offline.

Overview

A 2N door station guards the one door every guest has to get through first. Which is exactly why its failure mode is so painful: an intercom that quietly went offline on Tuesday becomes a guest standing in the street on Friday night, and you learn about both at the same time.

Connecting 2N to ProhostAI is about closing that visibility gap. Your intercoms and door stations sync in as devices with live status and connection health, and you assign each one to the listings behind it — so the entrance hardware shows up in the same dashboard as the unit locks, thermostats and noise sensors it works alongside.

From there, the building entrance is something you monitor rather than hope about. A dropped connection raises a disconnect alert with a guided reconnect flow; each device keeps a timeline of its events; and a status question — “is the street-door intercom at the Riverside building online?” — is something your AI employee answers from your phone, no 2N app required.

To be clear about today’s boundary: guest entry management for 2N systems — codes, buzz-in rules — stays in 2N’s own My2N platform. ProhostAI’s job here is the single pane of glass: every device a guest touches, one dashboard, nothing invisible.

What ProhostAI can do with 2N

With your 2N account connected and door stations assigned to listings, the entrance stops being a blind spot:

Monitoring

  • Door stations as first-class devices2N intercoms sync in with live status and connection health and sit beside your locks and sensors — the entrance is part of the fleet, not a separate system.
  • Offline never goes unnoticedA door station that drops its connection raises an alert immediately, with a reconnect flow to bring it back — days before it would have stranded a guest.
  • A timeline per intercomDevice events collect in a per-device history, so intermittent connectivity at one entrance shows up as a pattern, not a mystery.
  • Status on request, from anywhereAsk your AI employee whether an entrance is up and get a live answer — useful at 11pm when a guest says the intercom “isn’t working.”“Is the front-door intercom at Riverside online? — Online and connected; no disconnects in the past week.”

How to connect 2N

  3. 3Your intercoms and door stations sync in as devices with live status and connection health.
  4. 4Assign each door station to the listings behind it, with a name you recognize (Street door, Courtyard gate).
  5. 5Disconnect alerts, the device timeline and AI status checks take it from there.

Good to know

Per-reservation entry codes and buzz-in settings for 2N systems are managed in the My2N platform today — ProhostAI gives you the single dashboard view of those entrances alongside your locks, thermostats and sensors.

A door station serving several rental units can be assigned to each of those listings, so every listing’s device view is complete.

Connected devices are a paid add-on billed per device.

The connection uses a secure, dedicated device-integration layer; ProhostAI never sees or stores your 2N account password.

Yes. Connect your 2N / My2N account and your intercoms and door stations sync into ProhostAI as devices — live status, connection health, disconnect alerts, a per-device timeline and AI status lookups.

Not today — guest entry for 2N systems is managed in the My2N platform. What ProhostAI adds is visibility: the entrance monitored in the same dashboard as every other device your guests rely on.

ProhostAI alerts you the moment a connected door station drops offline and guides you through reconnecting it — so you fix it before check-in instead of hearing about it from the street.

Yes. Assign the door station to each listing behind it, and it appears in every one of those listings’ device views with the same live status.

No. You sign in with your 2N / My2N account in a secure connection window — no API key, and ProhostAI never sees your password.
