Sifely integration

Budget-friendly hardware, portfolio-grade code management.

A Sifely lock earns its price when the codes run themselves.

Connect your Sifely account once and ProhostAI handles what the lock cannot: minting a fresh keypad code for every booking, delivering it with the check-in details, and clearing it after checkout.

Overview

Sifely is where a lot of hosts land after pricing out keyless entry: keypad, fingerprint and app entry on hardware that costs a fraction of the flagship brands. The lock does its job. The recurring work — inventing a code for Saturday’s guest, programming it, texting it, deleting it — is what eats the savings back.

ProhostAI takes that work over. Once your Sifely account is connected and each lock is assigned to a listing, every reservation gets its own keypad code with a validity window built from the stay dates: set ahead of check-in, removed after checkout. Where the lock supports it, the code is the last four digits of the guest’s phone number — something the guest knows without re-reading a message at the door.

Delivery rides your existing message flow. A template variable drops the code into scheduled check-in messages and the digital guidebook — and the guidebook can do more than display the code: for locks you enable, guests can lock and unlock right from it during the stay.

When dates move or a booking cancels, the code follows — and if a code fails to set because a lock is unreachable or its battery died, the failure is tracked and surfaced instead of silently dropped. That is the difference between a cheap lock and a cheap lock you can trust across a calendar.

What ProhostAI can do with Sifely

Once your Sifely account is connected and locks are assigned to listings, this runs on its own:

Guest access

  • A fresh keypad code per bookingEach reservation gets its own code with a window built from the stay — active shortly before check-in, removed after checkout.
  • Codes guests already knowWhere the lock supports it, the code is the last four digits of the guest’s phone number, with a safe random fallback when those digits are unavailable or already on the lock.“Your door code is the last 4 digits of your phone number — 6640.”
  • Sent with the check-in messageA template variable inserts the code into scheduled messages and the guest guidebook, so access instructions always match the lock.

Automation

  • An AI employee that can work the doorWhen a guest asks for their code mid-stay, the AI can look it up, generate a fresh one, or unlock the door on request — audited, rate-limited, and never for cancelled or past bookings.
  • Codes follow the calendarDate changes move the code’s window while the digits stay the same — the code the guest already received keeps working. Cancellations remove the code entirely.
  • Failures get surfaced, not swallowedCode-setting is driven through to confirmation. An offline lock or dead battery becomes a tracked, visible problem you can fix before arrival.
  • A history per lockUnlocks, code changes and failures land in a per-device timeline you can actually check when something seems off.

How to connect Sifely

Connecting Sifely takes a few minutes and happens entirely in the browser:

  1. 1In ProhostAI, open Smart Devices and choose Connect account.
  2. 2Pick Sifely in the secure connection window and sign in with your Sifely account credentials.
  3. 3Your locks sync in automatically with battery and connection status.
  4. 4Assign each lock to its listing and name it the way guests would (Front door, Side entrance).
  5. 5From the next reservation on, codes are created, delivered and removed automatically.

Good to know

Sifely locks offer keypad, fingerprint and app entry — ProhostAI manages the keypad codes, which is the entry method your guests actually use.

For remote code management the lock needs to be reachable from your Sifely account — Sifely’s WiFi gateway is how most hosts keep locks online.

ProhostAI only manages the reservation codes it creates; your own owner and cleaner codes stay on the lock untouched.

Connected devices are a paid add-on billed per device, and the connection never exposes your Sifely password to ProhostAI.

Sifely integration FAQ

Yes. Connect your Sifely account and ProhostAI creates a unique keypad code for every reservation, delivers it in your check-in messages and guidebook, and removes it after checkout.

The lock needs to be reachable from your Sifely account for codes to be set remotely — Sifely’s WiFi gateway is the usual way to get a Bluetooth lock online. Once it is reachable, ProhostAI manages codes without anyone on site.

Automatically. A template variable drops each reservation’s code into your scheduled messages and the digital guidebook, so the code the guest reads always matches the lock.

Where the lock supports it, yes — ProhostAI uses the last four digits of the guest’s phone number, falling back to a safe random code when those digits are unavailable or already in use on the lock.

The attempt is tracked and retried automatically — including the moment the lock comes back online — and you are alerted, so you can fix the lock or send a backup entry method before the guest arrives.
