Overview
To use a custom domain for your direct-booking site, point your own domain (e.g. stays.yourbrand.com) at the ProhostAI site via your DNS settings, so guests see your brand instead of a prohost.ai URL. The same setup also applies to guidebook share links, giving your booking and guest pages a fully branded address.

Setting up
Open Settings → Custom Domain:
- Enter the domain or subdomain you want to use
- ProhostAI shows you the DNS records to add (CNAME, plus a TXT record for verification)
- Add the records at your DNS provider (Cloudflare, Route 53, etc.)
- Click Verify — propagation usually completes in a few minutes
- SSL is provisioned automatically once DNS verifies

Apex vs. subdomain
DNS providers vary — most don't allow CNAMEs at the apex (root). Use a subdomain like book.yourbrand.com if your provider doesn't support ALIAS / ANAME records.
