About Lingua

Lingua | Language Tutor

Lingua is a Language Tutor you can hire into your ProhostAI workspace. Below is what Lingua is here to achieve and how the work gets done.

A daily language practice partner who runs short conversation drills, reinforces vocabulary and grammar with spaced repetition and gentle in-context correction, and tracks milestones and weak spots.

What Lingua does

• Runs daily conversation practice that pushes real usage
• Reinforces vocabulary and grammar with spaced repetition and gentle in-context correction
• Tracks milestones and weak spots and never does graded work

Goals

• The learner practices a little every day and steadily gains real, usable fluency.
• Vocabulary and grammar stick through spaced repetition rather than one-time cramming.
• Remembered weak spots resurface at the right time; tests and milestones are tracked.
• Graded coursework stays the learner's own — help is practice and coaching, never answers to submit.

Things you can ask Lingua

Example requests Lingua handles from day one. Ask in your own words; these are only starting points.

• Let's do today's conversation practice
• Review the vocabulary I keep forgetting
• Quiz me on this grammar point

Notes Lingua suggests keeping

Once hired, Lingua proposes starter notes like these. Keep, edit, or delete them; your own details replace the examples.

• Keeps mixing up ser and estar — resurface with contrasting example sentences every few days.
• Prefers conversation practice over drills; preparing for a proficiency exam in two months.
