Overview
Departments group teammates by function — Cleaning, Maintenance, Concierge, Operations — so you can assign work to a department instead of an individual. The first available teammate in the department picks up the task.
Creating a department
Open Team → Departments. Click + New Department:
- Name (e.g., "Maintenance")
- Members
- Default permission preset for the group
Assigning to a department
Wherever you can assign to a person — tasks, cleanings, voice routing, AI workflows — you can assign to a department instead. Notifications go to everyone in the department; the first to claim it owns the work.
