Overview
Shifts is a weekly scheduling canvas โ place teammates into recurring on-duty windows, handle one-off changes, and manage swap requests.
Creating shifts
Open Team โ Shifts. The week view shows your team's schedule. To add a shift:
- Pick a teammate
- Pick a day and start/end time
Recurring shifts are supported โ set "every Mon/Wed/Fri 8am-4pm" once and it repeats each week.
Shift overrides
If someone's out for a day, you can override a single occurrence without rewriting the recurring schedule. An override can shorten a window or mark the teammate fully off for that date, and it never changes the underlying recurring shift.
Swap and change requests
A teammate can request a change to their shift โ for example a swap or a one-off date adjustment. An admin or the shift's owner approves or rejects the request; once approved, the schedule updates automatically.
