Overview
Cleaning requirements are completion gates: rules a cleaning must satisfy before it can be marked Ready for Inspection or Completed. ProhostAI supports two gates, configured in your cleaning settings:
- Minimum attachments — require a set number of photos (or other attachments) on the cleaning before it can close
- Checklist completion — require every checklist item to be ticked off before it can close
Setting requirements
Open your Cleaning settings. You can:
- Set minimum attachments to complete — the number of attachments a cleaning needs before it can be marked done (leave it blank or zero for no minimum)
- Turn on require checklist completion — when enabled, all checklist items must be completed before the cleaning can close
What happens at completion time
When a cleaner tries to mark a cleaning Ready for Inspection or Completed, ProhostAI checks both gates. If the attachment count is below the minimum, or any checklist item is still open, the change is blocked and the cleaner is told what's missing.
Users with the cleaning-settings permission can bypass these gates — useful for managers correcting records after the fact.
Difference vs. checklists
- Checklists are the list of work the cleaner ticks off
- Requirements decide whether that work is enough to close the cleaning — the minimum-attachments and require-checklist-completion gates turn checklists and photos into hard stops
