Overview
Cleaning Requirements are property-level rules each cleaning must satisfy before it can be marked complete — for example, "every bedroom must have a photo of the made bed" or "the welcome card must be replaced." They're enforced at the cleaning detail screen.
Setting requirements
Open Cleanings → Requirements and pick a listing. You can add:
- Photo requirements — required photo per room or per item
- Checklist items — must-tick boxes
- Notes — read-only context the cleaner sees
What happens at completion time
When the cleaner taps "Complete," ProhostAI checks the requirements. If anything's missing, the cleaning stays in Ready for Inspection and the cleaner is prompted to upload the missing photo or check the missing item.
Difference vs. checklists
- Checklists are flexible — items the cleaner ticks off, no enforcement
- Requirements are gates — the cleaning won't close without them
Use both: checklists for the routine work, requirements for the things that absolutely cannot be skipped.
