TTLock is the platform behind a huge range of affordable keypad locks. If yours runs the TTLock app, connect it once and ProhostAI gives every reservation its own code — created, delivered and removed automatically.

Overview

The name on the box often isn’t the name that matters. Dozens of affordable keypad locks — sold under brands you may never have heard of — all run on the same platform underneath: TTLock. If the app you used to set up your lock is the TTLock app, that lock can connect to ProhostAI, whatever the sticker on the front says.

That makes TTLock the practical answer for hosts who bought capable, inexpensive hardware and now want it to behave like a hospitality system. Connect your TTLock account, and each lock syncs in as a device you assign to a listing. From there, every reservation gets its own code with a validity window built from the stay — programmed ahead of check-in, removed after checkout, and where the lock supports it, made from the last four digits of the guest’s phone number.

The rest of the loop is closed too: a template variable delivers the code in your scheduled messages and digital guidebook, and code-setting is tracked through to confirmation — failed attempts retry automatically, including the moment a gateway comes back online, and you’re alerted if a change still won’t land.

For remote code management, TTLock locks pair with a TTLock gateway that puts them online.

What ProhostAI can do with TTLock

Guest access

A fresh code every booking — Each reservation gets its own code, valid from ahead of check-in until checkout — nothing shared, nothing reused.
Phone-digit codes where supported — ProhostAI prefers the last four digits of the guest’s phone number, falling back to a safe random code when needed.“Your door code is the last 4 digits of your phone number — active from 3pm.”
Automatic delivery — A template variable puts the code into scheduled messages and the guest guidebook, so it is always the code actually on the lock.

Automation

Codes minted the moment a booking confirms — Each code is created at booking confirmation as a time-bound code — the window opens ahead of check-in (12 hours by default, configurable) and closes at checkout exactly.
Codes reconcile with the calendar — Moved or cancelled bookings update the lock: windows shift with new dates while the digits stay the same, and codes for cancelled stays are removed.
Failures tracked to confirmation — Code changes are verified against the lock. Offline gateway or dead battery? Attempts retry automatically and the failure is surfaced so you can act early.
A usable audit log — Unlocks, code changes and errors build a per-device timeline — handy when you manage many cheap locks across many doors.

How to connect TTLock

Connecting TTLock takes a few minutes:

1In ProhostAI, open Smart Devices and choose Connect account.
2Pick TTLock in the secure connection window and sign in with your TTLock account credentials.
3Locks from your TTLock account sync in with battery and connection status.
4Assign each lock to its listing with a recognizable name (Front door, Studio annex).
5From the next reservation on, guest codes are created, delivered and removed for you.

Good to know

TTLock is a platform, not a single lock line — if your lock was set up in the TTLock app, it can connect, regardless of the brand on the hardware.

Remote code management needs the lock online, which TTLock hardware does through a TTLock gateway.

ProhostAI only touches the reservation codes it creates; codes you programmed in the TTLock app stay put.

Connected devices are a paid add-on billed per device — often the cheapest full automation setup, given TTLock hardware prices.

They are removed from the lock as part of reconciliation. Date changes move the code’s validity window instead. No manual cleanup either way.
